I'm an enthusiastic, doctoral-level speech-language pathologist. Welcome to my personal and academic web space.

I'm currently jump-starting the final projects needed to finish my PhD in Speech & Hearing Sciences at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. I love teaching and writing, and I hope to teach upcoming speech geeks in a university setting when I've completed my degree.

After three years, I have closed Speech Geek LLC's outpatient practice to build its continuing education programming exclusively. For more information go to www.speechgeek.net.

For the next two years, I will be working full time in a temporary position at a university on research funded by the National Institute of Health. I am looking forward to entering the academic and research world once again, and I am especially looking forward to finally finishing my doctoral program.
