I'm currently praying for the initiative to finish my PhD in Speech & Hearing Sciences at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. I love teaching and writing, but I am not terribly fond of the academic research world. I am a clinician at heart. I love the interaction with families and the relationships that form as a result.

Currently, I'm operating my own, quickly growing, outpatient speech therapy clinic in Abingdon, VA. Speech Geek’s primary office is located within the Virginia Highlands Small Business Incubator where a 500 square foot office can accommodate both pediatric therapy and adult treatment.

Speech Geek, LLC, provides quality rehabilitative services focusing on speech, language, and swallowing services for individuals ranging in age from infants to adult populations, including geriatrics and adults with developmental disabilities.
